August 11th Payday for All Teachers – per SCS update

“August 11 is the first pay day with all employees included.

Once again, we’re taking some proactive steps to help ensure accuracy of all paychecks. All of our teachers and teacher-types who started July 31 will receive a full check on August 11. That’s 6,000+ more employees on the payroll next week, so we are making sure there is ample time for reporting issues… just in case we have to correct any unintended discrepancies.

All employees can review their pay in the Employee Portal beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9. If you notice any discrepancies, be sure to report them by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, by calling 416-5304.

Note: The August 11 paycheck includes days worked July 20 – August 2, so non-12-month employees who started on or after August 3 will not receive a check on August 11. – From Shelby County Schools District Update, posted in our emails on Thursday, August 3.
