Reginald Frentress
Uniserv DIRECTOR
An Elementary teacher for Memphis City Schools for nine years before deciding to pursue a career as an advocate for public education. He was selected as one of the nine candidates out of a pool of 150 to Intern in the NEA Uniserv training academy. The Academy consisted of 4 weeks of classroom cohorts that included Organizational Development, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Internal/External Organizing, and Collective Bargaining. After the classroom cohort was completed, Reginald was assigned to the Michigan Education Association for actual field experience.
Since graduation from the NEA Intern Academy, Reginald has worked for the Ohio Education Association as a Labor Relations Consultant and the Illinois Education as a Education Lobbyist.
Reginald returned to Tennessee and began work at the Tennessee Education Association as a Uniserv Coordinator in 2017.
His Education includes:
BA -Lemoyne Owen College- Liberal Studies-Elementary Education
M.ED – Freed Hardeman University-Curriculum and Instruction
ED.S – Union University- Education Leadership
